Enjoy the views over the Loch whilst you relax in our comfortable surroundings. At the Glen Café & Bistro we pride ourselves with our fresh food individually prepared to order. Home Cooking and Baking is our speciality.
Breakfasts are served to 11.30am. The full breakfast includes our butchers own braveheart & blackheart sausage. We also have a vegetarian option and a range of hot filled rolls. Or how about some traditional porridge?
Light lunches
and meals are served from 11.30am to 4.00pm. Try our haggis & cheddar
panini or choose from our range of fresh sandwiches. Our menu also includes
home made soup, jacket potatoes, hot filled baguettes and other meals.
High Tea’s are served from 4.00pm and include a range of meals using fresh local produce, home baking and tea or coffee.
Extended opening hours can be arranged for group bookings
Fair Trade teas, coffee & hot chocolate are served all day along with our range of home baking & soft drinks
Our luxury ice cream comes from the beautiful islands of Orkney and comes in a range of delicious flavours.

History
Believe it or not there has been a cafe in this area since the 1920's initially below the Hogg monument before being moved to its current position.
The cafe was rebuilt in the 1950's by the Nichol family.
